We are currently looking for a Facilities Manager to work for our high profile client in South West London. The position is working on a residential estate directing, managing, and providing day to day technical operations assistance and directions where needed.

It is a permanent position full time on a Monday to Friday week working on site being the point of contact and helping achieve the overall goals for the estates. The ideal candidate will have health and safety knowledge within residential property as well as experience managing compliance and contractors with knowledge of plant rooms.

Facilities Manager

South West London

£60k - £65k per anum

Responsibilities:

  • Manage statutory policies including water hygiene and environmental and energy efficiency
  • Ensure that all statutory documentation and training records are maintained accurately up to date and submitted in a timely manner
  • Ensure the compliance management system is updated, reports uploaded and actions closed in a timely manner
  • Manage all hard services contracts and contractors
  • Meet with supply partners and undertake performance review meetings, ensuring continual
  • improvement of service and value for money
  • Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
  • Manage contractor and vendor relationships
  • Ensure efficient utilization of onsite engineers
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of estate facilities, plant equipment, and assets as per the asset register
  • HVAC - heating, ventilating, mechanical and electrical equipment and have a sound understanding of the purpose and general working of such equipment
  • Carry out directly/indirectly regular plant site inspections to ensure the highest standards are
  • maintained and that site maintenance standards are being proactively dealt with
  • Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures in conjunction with M&E contractor
  • Oversee PPM planer/scheduled and ensure are completed within the designated time frame
  • Attend and manage weekly M&E contractor meeting

Looking for candidates with experience in:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in facilities management
  • Experience working in high end residential estates
  • IOSH & NEBOSH
  • Health and safety knowledge
