We are currently looking for a Facilities Manager to work for our high-profile client in Paddington looking after a commercial property. The position overseeing both hard and soft services and being the onsite point of contact for all matters regarding facilities.

It is a permanent position full time on a Monday to Friday week. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of both hard and soft services in commercial property with a minimum of two years’ experience within managing facilities in a corporate environment.

£45,000 - £47,000 per anum

Responsibilities:

  • To provide a 1st class, professional, comprehensive Facilities service to the client
  • Promote a proactive, client focused and solution-focused approach for facilities services
  • Promote responsibility and accountability and a culture of excellence
  • Escalate any issues to RM
  • Performance-manage and support Post Room and Reception teams
  • Organising statutory compliance and records – e.g. fire systems servicing,
  • electrical testing etc.
  • Manage maintenance of office equipment and machinery ensuring the planned
  • preventative maintenance schedule is adhered to
  • Manage all contractors and suppliers on site in accordance with contractual
  • agreements, site safety procedures and budget agreement as well as work permits
  • Organise regular review meeting with all key contractors and review contractor
  • Inductions
  • Assist with meeting room set-ups ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist with small office moves where appropriate.
  • Ensure awareness of client business, brands and service requirements
  • Concept system use - Helpdesk module, management planning, preventative
  • maintenance scheduling, purchasing and financial monitoring
  • Financial monitoring – Budget control, management and reporting. Escalation to
  • RM as appropriate

Looking for candidates with experience in:

  • Minimum of 2 years managing facilities in a commercial property
  • Knowledge of hard and soft services in both hard and soft services
  • IOSH & NEBOSH
  • Health and safety knowledge
