The Company:

My client is one of the largest independent providers of property maintenance services in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across tens of thousands of locations around the UK. They provide, Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air conditioning and Combustion, maintenance and installations to commercial & retail environments. With 15 regional offices they are national specialists in planned and responsive maintenance and all of there services are based on `self delivery`, which means that they employ only the best, fully qualified in-house technicians and engineers to maintain quality standards. They currently employ over 2000 technicians and engineers.

The Role:

One of the UK's largest independent providers of property maintenance is looking for an Account Director.

My client has recently been awarded a large contract in the South of England. We are looking for a professional, focused and driven candidate who will have a proven track record as a manager and must come from an M&E commercial maintenance background.

Sound contract financial awareness is essential as well as the ability to lead and manage a large team (60+) of multi skilled staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To manage a team of Maintenance Managers located in large commercial properties
  • To provide a high quality and compliant technical service to Contracts
  • Ensure efficient and effective service provision in line with agreed budgets and service specifications
  • Monitor and report on the quality and financial performance of all services within the scope of the contract, to include innovation in service delivery
  • Aim to continuously improve the service delivery to the client

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Mechanically or Electrically qualified
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification
  • Proven track record in Commercial Building Maintenance
  • Minimum 2 years Manager experience
  • Financial awareness
  • Management and leadership skills

The Salary/Benefits:

  • £80,000-£90,000
